Connecting the dots.
Building what works.

I’m Kyle Steffen, a systems analyst and software professional in telecommunications. I work across OSS and BSS—helping turn the complexity of network operations, customer care, and billing into systems people can rely on.

How I approach the work

Thoughtful systems.
Real-world impact.

Telecommunications is a connected world of people, processes, and technology. My work in OSS and BSS software brings those pieces together—from operational workflows and service delivery to the business systems that support customers and providers.

I enjoy understanding how a system works end to end, finding where it can work better, and building practical software that makes a lasting difference. The best solutions are dependable, clear, and designed around the people who use them.

A career in progress

From founder
to teammate.

Telecom software · OSS / BSS

One industry, many chapters.

I was previously the owner of SpecSoft, where I built experience creating software for the telecommunications space. Following SpecSoft’s acquisition, I joined the MACC team. Today, I continue that work as part of MACC, within Harris Computer and its parent, Constellation Software.

It’s a meaningful next chapter: bringing a founder’s perspective, systems thinking, and deep industry context to a team focused on serving communications providers.
